Shorkie

The Shorkie Tzu is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Shih Tzu and the Yorkshire Terrier. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. This hybrid dog is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club.

The Shorkie is sweet and playful and very energetic but is always ready to lay and cuddle at anytime. They are usually friendly and love to meet new people and animals. Shorkies are typically independent, intelligent, lovable, and cheerful.

They are very trainable and laid back and enjoys spending time with their owner. They enjoy short walks and/or play time in the yard. They are not very active dogs and enjoy their time indoors.
